Robert S. Christensen O.D. is an Optometrist located at 250 Camino Alto, Suite 110, in Mill Valley, California. He received his Doctorate in Optometry, cum laude at the University of Houston. Dr. Christensen specializes in Head Trauma and Stroke Victims, Corneal Refractive Therapy, Contact lens fitting, Computer Vision Syndrome and Vision Improvement Techniques. He has taken many courses in Nutrition, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Feldenkrais Technique, he devised one of the most successful school vision screening programs in the Midwest, and successfully manufactured aspheric bifocal contact lenses and rigid gas permeable contact lenses long before most optometrists had knowledge of their existence. Dr. Christensen is one of the first optometrists in California to be licensed to treat ocular disease. He has been in private practice for over 30 years.
